I'm a freelance photographer currently based in Columbus, Ohio and available for assignment anywhere you'd like to send me. I grew up on my family's farm where I raised pigs for most of my teenage years. Somewhere along the line I borrowed an old Nikon from my grandfather and haven't really stopped shooting since. After high school, I enrolled in Ohio University's School of Visual Communication. Since then, I've used photography as a means to communicate the struggles and successes of others as well as an outlet to explore myself and those who I choose to surround myself with. Along with photography, I also like writing, skiing and going on bike rides.

Some of my clients include the The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, US News and World Report, TIME Magazine, AARP Bulletin, Denison University Magazine, Multifamily Executive Magazine, Ohio Magazine, and Builder Magazine.

My work has been recognized by the NPPA and POYi 66 for content in the 2008 Soul of Athens project. I was selected to have two images in this year's American Photography 26 book and was awarded a 3rd place in Portrait, Pictorial and Sports Feature as well as an HM in Daily Life in the 2010 Southern Short Course in News Photography. I am spending this summer working in Glouster, Ohio with financial support from AmericanPoverty.org.

If you would like to inquire about a print purchase or would like me to shoot your wedding, feel free to e-mail or call me.
